The world is our mirror. The good we find in others is a reflection of the good present in us. Similarly, the other not-so-good aspects, are a reflection of ourselves. Let's give to others and at the same time we will be giving to ourselves. Let's appreciate beauty found around us, and we will be beautiful. Let's admire creativity, and we will be creative. For all of these good thoughts five schools from Poland, Romania, Malta, Italy and Lithuania decided to propose this project.
Our students could prepare some art events (drama, song contests, picture auction, photo, exhibitions etc.), but not just for showing purposes. The aim of these events would be to turn the attention of the public opinion to some social problems such as: elderly people; sick children or homeless animals. This idea could turn profitable by collecting money for social purposes (eg selling tickets or any other form).
So the main idea of the project is employing art to help children not only to improve themselves, but also to focus on some social problems. It means giving our students chance to show the beauty of their personalities to other people. They would be able to work on their hobbies, learn some new skills and teach their friends how to do interesting things.
Our school is participating in
the comenius project. We are writing letters to other children who
attend schools in Romania, Poland, Lithuania and Italy. At the moment
we are voting for our song. Please do visit the site and vote for the
