Form 1 students gathered in the school Assembly Hall to celebrate the crowning of Our Lady. During this annual religious celebration, representatives of all form 1 classes offered flowers to Our Lady, prayed the rosary and sang hymns. There was a serene feeling among the students.

Throughout May, 2010

During long assemblies, that is on Wednesdays and Fridays, form one students are reading out work tackled during form teacher period. The teachers in charge of assemblies gave each class names of famous people - ones who managed to make an impact in their field, like Nelson Mandela, Marie Curie, Leonardo Da Vinci, Alex Zanardi ...Students had to research information and present a write up (in Maltese) during assembly. This was done in the hope of helping students acquire general knowledge and to further their understanding/appreciation of aspects of our world.

April 1, 2010. Hands on Experience.

As a follow up to a module featuring Work: origins of certain jobs, work relations, jobs that have disappeared, the evolving nature of certain jobs, trades of past and present, jargon used in media linked to work disputes ... a few of our girls, accompanied by their teacher, decided to leave their files and books aside for a while, roll up their sleeves and help on a farm.
