The school council is currently made up of seven members namely Mrs Mary Anne Abela, President recently appointed by the Hon. Minister Dolores Christina; Ms M. Bonnici (Headmistress) as the Secretary; Mrs Jacqueline Schembri and Mr Noel Zahra representing the teachers and Mrs Diane Fenech (housewife), Mrs Joan Lanzon (midwife) and Mrs Rosemarie Saliba (F.E.S. Animator) representing the parents. The council is short of one teacher representative at the moment as the said teacher has been promoted as an Assistant Head and transferred to another school..

This Council started functioning in January 2006 and has to be replaced next January when elections will take place once more. The secretary in consultation with the president calls regular meetings of this Council to discuss the prepared agenda. The School Council has an important role to fulfil. It deals mostly with the school environment: ensuring that it  is clean, safe, healthy and as beautiful as possible for our students. Naturally it also deals with problems related to this.

The Sub Committee

This is made up of more parents who wish to support the school and be a link with other parents. At present it is made up of nine members who meet regularly. It is run by the parent representatives in the school council  supporting it  in its decisions.  It organises activities for parents with the specific aim to help all parents feel part of the school, to provide information for parents as well as to educate and entertain them. Another important factor is fundraising, There is always some particular project  which requires loads of money: the subcommittee tries to raise funds to make this possible.

The school is always in need of help.  Anyone interested to join can call the school and they will be referred to the representatives.
