The school offers spiritual guidance to all its
members. The spiritual counsellor visits classes regularly, celebrates Mass, administers
the Sacrament of Reconciliation and attends to the spiritual needs of all. Any
member of Staff may discreetly refer a student for spiritual guidance.
Religious Activities
(a) Monthly mass for each Form animated by a group of
teachers in charge of religious activities.
(b) Monthly celebration of the Sacrament of
Reconciliation for all students.
(c) The constant presence of the Spiritual Director
for Pastoral Counselling during school hours.
(d) Daily deliverance of a religious message during
the morning assembly, followed by a short prayer.
(e) Lenten spiritual exercises for all forms.
(f) Organisation of special religious functions such
as:
· The Christmas Novena
· The Christmas Mass
presided by H.E. The Bishop of Gozo
· Mass in honour of Our
Lady of Sorrows
· Eucharistic Day and
· A religious celebration
in honour of Christ the King
(g) Occasional prayer meetings and talks such as
prayers for vocations and missionaries.
(h) Yearly meeting of H.E. The Bishop with Form I
students during which he donates the New Testament to every student.
