Activities

	On the 25th of march 1998 the school was named Ganni A. Cilia. Ganni A. cilia served for a long time in this school as a headmaster. Mr. Cilia himself was present for the occasion.
A staff development was organised by the head of school to discuss new assessment methods. It took place on the 2nd of October 2003 and Mr P. Vassallo was the speaker. The staff of Mgarr and Bahrija Primary School took part in this event.
	Animal Awareness Day was celebrated on the 4th of October 2003. Animal Awareness Lessons were delivered and a display of children's work was exhibited in the school's corridors. (more photos of Animal Awareness Day can be found in General Info.)
Car free Day was a fantastic experience for the children of Mgarr. The principal roads were closed to traffic and children had the opportunity to play in the streets.
	The Spring Annual Picnic is a popular event with children. A picnic area is chosen and parents come with us and cook for all children.
When it comes to charity Mgarr children did their best. they collected the most money per head, in fact the school was given a printer as a present. The link person for the Ghana Movement thanked and encouraged the children for their contribution.
