He is presently working as an ICT Support Teacher at the Department of Technology in Education. The author holds a Bachelor's Degree in Education specialising in Italian language and a Diploma in Computer Studies in Education.  He spent several years teaching at state Primary schools, followed by seven years teaching at Antonio Bosio Boys Secondary School in Gzira where he taught Italian language for some time, before changing to ICT and then Computer Studies.

His interest in computers started in the early 80's with the acquisition of an Atari 800XL which the author used as a teaching tool at school.  In fact the author considers himself a pioneer in the use of ICT and computers in the classroom.
