Reply Q1. The conversion course will start on the 1st of June 2004.  Your teacher will give you more details as to the time and number of days you are required to attend.  You will also be informed about your centre.

Reply Q2. The exams will be held in September.  You can download the timetable from HERE. It is in PDF format.  If you do not have the required ADOBE ACROBAT READER you can download it from HERE. .

Reply Q3. The exams will be held at various accredited ECDL testing centres around Malta.  You will eventually be informed by post as to where to attend. .

You can download the application form from this site by choosing Conversion Course/Form for Students or click HERE.  Take the form to your respective Head of School as indicated in the DTiE circular 4/04. .

Reply Q5. You have to be in possession of the ECDL certificate and have undergone training at the Computer Society of Malta. .

Reply Q6. You have to be teaching ICT or Computer Studies in state or non state Secondary Schools or Junior Lyceums, and in possession of the ECDL certificate. .

Reply Q7. The answer is YES - if you have participated in the conversion course you will automatically be asked by the centre whether you wish to sit for the ECDL exams.  You will be informed my means of a letter from the Examinations Department of the Education Division.
