The Origins of
Our School
|
In May 2000, the school was
officially named after The Right Honourable John Hookham
Frere, an English scholar, diplomat and great benefactor,
who lived and eventually died in Malta.

The school is situated on
parts of grounds that used to form part of the magnificent
gardens of the villa where John Hookham Frere lived in the
1830's. on the hill of G'Mangia. His burial place is in
'Gnien il-Mistrieh'. |
