The New eTwinning Portal

In October 2008, a new portal was launched to add more interesting features of the Web 2.0.

Now there is much more to see on the portal for the unregistered member. There is also an inspirations section full of ideas and kits one can use to create collaborative projects. Once you register and log in, the portal becomes a social network of educators, where eTwinners can meet other eTwinners, add them to their contact list, email them, write on their walls, view each others' projects and much more...

Download notes on how to use the new portal.

You can go to the eTwinning portal at www.etwinning.net

Annual eTwinning Conference 2009

This year's annual eTwinning conference was held in Prague from the 13th to the 15th February. The venue was the Clarion Congress Hotel which hosted about 400 participants from all over Europe. The main theme of the conference was the European year of Innovation and Creativity and Dr. Edward de Bono was invited to deliver a key speech about Creative Thinking.

During the first evening of the conference there was also the prize-giving cermony for the winning eTwinning Projects of this year.

A maltese delegation represented our country and put up an exhibition with project work submitted to the NSS office from various teachers and schools.

A number of photos to commemorate this activity can be found in our national blog. Or view this videodiary.
