The Primary School at Dingli was founded in 1858 with a population of only 30 girls using the Parish Domus as its premises.  The school mistress was Ms. Carmela Bonello.  In 1875 the school took in 10 boys.  These children were taught Maltese, English, Arithmetic, Catechism and Needlework for girls.  In 1903, the school moved to 17, Main Street, occupying premises newly built for this purpose.  The 8 classrooms are still being used today.  In the same year, Mr. Guze' Ebejer was appointed Head of School, and he held this position for 35 fruitful years thus earning the honour of having this village school called after him.  In the early 1960's, a new wing housing 12 more classrooms and a hall were built.  A Kindergarten class with 23 children was opened in 1975.
