Children are always expected to be punctual. The morning assembly, which usually takes place either in the yard or in the school hall, is considered to be a lesson in itself. Parents should make it a point to ensure that their children always attend the assembly.

School Uniform

All children are required to come in their school uniform except for particular occasions as listed below. School ties, bow-ties, badges and tracksuits can be purchased from the School Council members.

Tracksuit / White P.E. Kit

All children are required to come in their school tracksuits (or an alternative WHITE kit) only in the following cases:

  • on Mid-Week Wednesdays
  • according to their class's PE timetable
  • for educational outings

Student Intake Periods

New Kindergarten children are admitted during one of three periods throughout the scholastic year, as follows:

  • October (children born between April and September)
  • January (children born between October and December)
  • April (children born between January and March)

The periods of registration are published accordingly in the school newsletter and on the town parish noticeboard.

For the registration, the Government birth certificate is required.

Parents who wish to transfer their children from other schools should make it a point to notify both schools at least two weeks before the transfer date.

Transport to and from school

Transport is provided by the Education Division for children who live more than 1 mile (1.6km) away from school. Currently, there are five operating routes, as follows:

  • For residents of the Qajjenza area;
  • For residents of the Port Hieles area;
  • For residents of the Tal-Papa/Tal-Gebel area;
  • For residents of the Kalafrana/Benghisa/Hal-Far area.

Exclusive transport for SEN children is also provided.
