L-Ewropa fuq ir-Roti Tours

Ms S Attard and the students’ council decided to apply for two tours organized by MUESAC. These tours are known as L-Ewropa fuq ir-roti, and are being funded by the European Union. Everything is catered for by the organizers, including transport.

We chose three sites for the Form 2s for Thursday 15th March, namely the Maypole Factory (Handaq), the aviation museum (Ta’ Qali) and the Mdina Fortifications and Palazzo De Piro. We also booked another tour for the Form 3s for Friday 16th March. In the latter tour, the bakery site was changed to the Mediterranean Ceramics Factory at Ta Qali. In every site the students were given talks by a person working there.

We hope to take the students again on some other such tour next year since they were very interesting. The photograph was taken at the Malta Aviation Museum on Friday 16th March.
